Hardware Engineer will work closely with partner companies to design and
develop novel consumer electronics hardware. They develop original designs
and monitor to work for our partners. They main responsible is to deliver
the hardware portion of the product and will coordinate with a cross
functional global team.
• Exp. On overseas development partners for new hardware platforms
• Act as POP (point of contact to development partner) and it
includes the ability to answer almost all detailed board level design
questions that might arise at the JDM.
• Worked with Product Manager, they can make product cost and
architecture trade-offs.
• Detailed Hardware product requirements and specifications to enable
efficient product development with partners.
• To review all product validation plans and test plans authorized by
partner and internal validation groups
• To test reports generated while testing the product and review all
product validation reports .
• To understand compliance testing needed for product launch into
worldwide locations.
• The Collaborative board level bring up with partners
• The selection and qualification with overseas partners
• The applicant should be familiar with the design of low power
products. Must have Experience of a consumer electronics environment dealing
with high volume and high quality products is an advantage.
• The main responsibility include subsystem design reviews,
prototyping, schematic reviews, prototype bring up and debugging, hardware
testing, generation of hardware bugs, working with cross-functional teams on
debug/analysis/prove-out and also some manufacturing test support.
Experience/Qualifications Preferred
• Bachelor/Master/Electronics
• Must have experience with high-speed digital design (DDR, NAND and
NOR Flash)
• Must have experience with RF design
• EMI and ESD management techniques Experience.
• 7 + years of experience on board level design (block diagram to
schematic to PCB)
• Prior experience on ODMs and JDMs in Taiwan preferred
• Design and Hardware architecture and
• Software architecture exp. and design basics
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Should be a team player
• Ability to lead local and overseas team to launch a successful
product
• Experience with global regulatory compliance certification
• Experience with OrCAD/Capture CIS strongly desired
• PADs PCB layout software experience desired
• Low noise audio system design
• Experience with Bluetooth desired
• Experience with WiFi (802.11n/b/g/n) desired
• Experience with the following interfaces: I2C, SPI, and USB
Minimum Requirements:
