Urgent Need for .NET Lead (with Sharepoint exp)

Title:  .NET Lead

Location:  Grand Rapids, MI

Length:  5 months

 

Details:

The selected candidate will develop solutions based on the ASP.NET and SharePoint development platform.  The candidate may be required to gather business user requirements, develop prototypes, or configure a solution based upon user specification documents

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems

5 years ASP.NET development with C#

2 years SharePoint (WSS/MOSS) development experience.

3-5 years SQL Server development experience

2 years experience LINQ

Develop and deploy solutions based on the ASP.NET and SharePoint development platform which have been tailor to specific needs of internal customers.
The ability to translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions by developing diagrams and prototypes using custom code in addition to providing time and resource estimates to complete the project.
Suggests and develops solutions to business problems and/or processes that leverage SharePoint 2007 .NET 3.5 technologies to improve efficiency and create a better user experience.
Ability to create documentation for requirements analysis, design specifications, user guides, installation guides, custom training materials, project plans, etc.

The successful candidate will have experience developing the following solutions using ASP.NET and SharePoint out of the box functionality, custom code using C# and LINQ solutions:

 

Custom Forms
InfoPath Forms
Web Parts
Custom Lists
Custom templates
Content Types
Web Services
Solution files for deployment

 

The successful candidate will possess the following additional skills:

 

Ability to gather customer requirements and understand customer needs.
Ability to create wire frames of site based on customer interviews.
Ability to create and execute test scripts
Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
Superb troubleshooting experience and root cause analysis
Solid communication skills both verbally and in writing.
